Jaime was born and raised in Albuquerque! A graduate of Valley High School, graduated with honors in the Valley Academy. Nursing was Jaime’s second career, she spent 11 years in the dental field, before finding her true calling! Jaime obtained her Associates Degree in Nursing from Carrington College in 2012, her Bachelor Degree in Nursing in 2014, and Master Degree in Nursing in 2019 both from Chamberlain College of Nursing.
As a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner, Jaime practiced in Neonatal Intensive Care, Hospice, Palliative Care, Population Health, Transition of Care, Post-Acute and Longterm Primary and Urgent Care.
Jaime has experience caring for premature and sick newborns, children, adults, and the elderly. Jaime enjoys sharing her love of quality, exceptional patient care with nursing students. She volunteers her time as a guest lecturer for LPN students at the Career Enrichment Center with Albuquerque Public Schools. In her free time, Jaime enjoys fishing, camping, and boating with her family.
She has been married to her husband since 2005, together they have two amazing daughters, two Miniature Schnauzer’s, and one Sphinx Cat.
Fun fact – Jaime’s grandfather was a Family Physician, Mother is a Registered Nurse, and two of her three brothers are also Nurse Practitioners.
